Most traffic exchanges show your ads to viewers all over the world, there is not an option to target specific regions. Only a few are set up for geotargeting, and I show 4 of these in the video.
Your ability to get top tier traffic to your offers is just the start. To best utilize traffic exchanges you need use squeeze pages and get people onto your list, providing value to establish know, like and trust.
Remember that most traffic exchange users already have a business, they are there looking for traffic to their offers, not looking to join another business. Think about what these people need, and cater an offer to their needs. Some suggestions: traffic programs, lead generation, list building, tracking, effective squeeze page design.
When I first discovered traffic exchanges, I thought I had found a recruiting gold mine. I soon discovered the conversion rate was extremely low. You must find a unique promotion angle when the mindset is: I need traffic to my offer, versus I want to discover an opportunity.
Traffic exchanges with geotargeting can be a cost effective way to tap into top tier traffic. Just be realistic in your expectations and lead with a strong offer. Another important point is the cost of geotargeting may be more than one credit per view, or a different surf ratio (EasyHits4U). This can vary based on the particular traffic exchange and account level (free or upgraded).
