Three reasons to surf this exchange:

1. Well established traffic exchange with over 170,000 members.

2. Owner Paul Kinder is well respected in the traffic exchange industry.

3. Cool mascot!

I’m lifetime upgraded!

Traffic-Splash  is a well established manual traffic exchange with more than a 10 year history.  The owner is Paul Kinder.  The exchange is part of KRM.  The first thing I noticed was the personal touch, the pictures of the owner and staff.  You also see everyone’s picture on the surf prize pages.  I like knowing who is running a business. We have too many faceless owners in all industries, even traffic exchanges.

The exchange had a total makeover in November 2014, including the graphics and layout of the back office.

The free account has a 3:1 surf ratio. The pro account is 1:1.  There is another account option that is 1.5:1.  You can see all of the details of the three account options in the Upgrade Account area that is shown in the video.

The timer is 8 seconds, according to my stopwatch.  I do not recall reading anywhere on the exchange where the timer is listed.  However, 8 seconds is reasonable, not so short that the advertisers results are diminished.  I would prefer to see a countdown timer!

With a shorter timer and my upgrade, it is fairly easy to accumulate credits.  This exchange is ideal for showing your Legacy Team Co-op link.

As a surfer, you have a lot to gain.  Surf prizes every 15 surfs. CTP badges.  Surf rewards gives you banners starting at 100 surfs per server day.  250 surfs will award you with 2000 banners.  If you review all the surf rewards levels, you will notice 250 is the ‘sweet spot’ for earning.  This is also a reasonable number of surfs for anyone in a given day.

The member’s home page also outlines available promotions and the commando surf option.

I frequently receive a surf prize of an extra 15% credit for 2 hours.  I assume this is due to my upgrade.  However, I do not know for sure.

I like the fast actions section of the My Ads area.  I like the ability to convert credits into banners or text links.  I am disappointed that I cannot name my campaigns in the My Websites area.

There are some areas of the exchange that could use some improvement.  For example, when enjoying my extra 15% credit while using the retro surf bar, the countdown timer interferes with the showing of my surf count for the day.

Another example, surf rewards.  You receive banners starting at 100 surfs per day. However, the wording on the page that outlines the surf rewards is carried over from the old site.

The site just needs a few finishing touches after the update.

The petty issues I have outlined should not deter anyone from joining this exchange.  I have no regrets in taking the lifetime upgrade! I highly recommend Traffic-Splash.
